Dec 26, 2019  When I click on 'Boot Camp control panel', it asks me which system I want to use to start up my computer, but it only gives me one option: 'disk 1 Windows'. There is no Mac option. I also tried digging around in some settings, and found where I could select Mac OS X as the startup, but when I selected it, it immediately started up in Windows. 1. You can go back and forth between OS X and Windows on your Mac, but you can’t run both operating systems simultaneously under Boot Camp. Instead, you have to boot one operating system or the other — thus, the name Boot Camp. Restart your Mac, and hold down the Option key until icons for each operating system appear onscreen.

I recently started getting the error 'could not locate the MAC OS X boot volume' when using the Bootcamp tray icon to restart my MacBook into OS X. I'm able to use the option key to boot into both Windows and OS X. Any ideas how to fix? LonerT? Yes, this happened after doing a Windows 10 update. I'd prefer to not turn Windows updates off as things should work normally. Tried to repair Bootcamp install, but same issue. Thanks!
